Raimondo Rossi

Raimondo Rossi, also recognized as Ray Morrison, is a multifaceted figure in the world of fashion and photography, celebrated for his remarkable contributions in those fields. This site is maintained by his management. His work, both as a photographer and as an ambassador of Italian style in the world, has been published in numerous countries. His interviews are easy to find on Google. His work appears in magazines such as Modern Photography, Vogue, Rolling Stone Black Camera. Journalists from countries as far apart as China, Colombia, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines, as well as the United States and Europe, have met with the artist to talk about his artistic research.

“The essence of his research is to bring the world of aesthetics and fashion back to a deeper level, where the concepts of inner style, deep inclusivity, and diversity are not used, as they are now used to be, for economic, sales, or visibility purposes. His work is also up for teaching at Andrew College in the United States and has been the subject of dissertations at La Sapienza University in Rome. From his collection "My Voice" was born in 2021 the national campaign against all forms of discrimination”.

“Ray’s research can be defined as “emotional”. It takes place not only on the catwalk, but also backstage and on the streets. His shots and videos use fashion and artists’ work to create something bigger. Letting himself be carried away by inspiration, he amalgamates different styles, subjects and techniques, even those in stark contrast to each other, to express a message, as in the video “The emotions of fashion”, where he shows how beauty has no age or gender, approaching them with dreamlike grace and gentle touches, timeless, like one of Canova’s statues”.

AMANDA FALCONE, Italy Magazine

“As an artist, and even in his personal life, Rossi has come a long way. From battling inner conflict in his younger days to putting his creativity on hold to please his family, to being bullied at school, he has now burst forward with confidence and is going so far as to try and change stereotypes in the fashion world.”

“He has featured in some of the world’s leading magazines, like GQ, Vogue, Rolling Stone and The New York Times, and is known for raising questions about perfection, and giving visibility to beauty in every form. In person, he is as warm, honest, and down-to-earth as his art.”

— NASREEN RASOOL, Journalist for Compulsive Magazine, Manhattan NYC

"He takes his work beyond the classic standards of a world, such as that of fashion, which often fails to go beyond."
